Before applying for a Chinese visa, you will need to have an invitation letter or a valid visa issued by a third-country embassy. You will also need a copy of your passport and travel itinerary. The application process will vary depending on your country of origin and the consulate or embassy you choose.

When applying for a Chinese visa, it is important to consider the duration of your stay in Tibet. If you plan to be in the region for more than two weeks, you will need to apply for an extended stay visa. Additionally, if you plan to visit multiple cities in China, you will need to obtain a multi-entry visa.

Once you have made arrangements with a travel agency, they will begin the application process on your behalf. You will need to provide them with several documents, including a valid passport, proof of residence, and passport-sized photos. Depending on the country that issued your passport, you may also need to provide additional documents such as a visa or a permit.
